Lake Mills L-Cats (Lake Mills, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Poynette Pumas (Poynette, WI), 70-64 in a league bout.

With the win, Lake Mills upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The L-Cats host St. John's Northwestern Military Academy (Delafield, WI) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 5-15. St. John's Northwestern Military Academy lost 82-50 in their recent league bout against Heritage Christian (New Berlin, WI)

Next up, the Pumas clash with the Luther Prep Phoenix (Watertown, WI) in a Capitol - North bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Poynette will attempt to upgrade on its 12-12 season record.
