In Thursday's league match, the visiting Monroeville Eagles basketball team scored a good 59-39 triumph over the South Central Trojans.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Norwalk Truckers (Norwalk, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 11. Monroeville will attempt to move on its 12-8 season record. The Truckers enter the match with a 10-11 record after their 78-63 league loss to Sandusky (Sandusky, OH).

With the defeat, South Central moves to 9-12 on the year. The Trojans travel to Bellevue (Bellevue, OH) to meet the Redmen in a non-league match on Saturday, February 11. The Redmen enter the match with a record of 15-5. Bellevue won 74-65 in their recent league match against Clyde (Clyde, OH)
