In Thursday's non-league outing, the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA), by a margin of 77-39.
The Mountaineers (8-12) will now prepare for their outing against River Valley (Blairsville, PA). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 12-10 record. In their last outing, River Valley was trounced by Portage (Portage, PA), 65-48, in a non-league outing.
The Black Knights/Damsels now own a 0-21 record. They play next when they travel to West Branch for a Moshannon Valley outing on Friday, February 10. Moshannon Valley will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 64-62 league win over Curwensville (Curwensville, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 15-5.
