North Carolina High School Basketball - Queen's Grant knocked off by Sugar Creek

February 9, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28206

The Sugar Creek Wildcats basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions to 50 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apprentice Academy for a 1A Conference 38 contest on Friday, February 10. Sugar Creek will battle a Red Wolves team coming off a 56-46 league loss to Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Red Wolves record now stands at 0-16.

The Stallions (14-9) will now prepare for their contest against Carolina International (Concord, NC). The Comets enter the 1A Conference 38 contest with a 13-15 record. In their last contest, Carolina International Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC), 0-0, in a league contest.
