Illinois High School Basketball - Southland College Prep knocked off by Universal

The Universal Stars basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Southland College Prep to 63 in the Stars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Stars now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Unity Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. Universal will battle a Phoenix team coming off a 58-41 non-league win over Hinsdale Adventist Academy (Hinsdale, IL). The Phoenix record now stands at 8-4.

The (8-18) will now prepare for their contest against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Thunderbolts enter the non-league contest with a 16-11 record. In their last contest, Andrew ran past Stagg (Palos Hills, IL), 66-56, in a league contest.
