New Mexico High School Basketball - Pojoaque Valley topped by Taos

The Taos Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes to 40 in the Tigers league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moriarty for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Taos will battle a Pintos team coming off a 58-17 non-league loss to Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Pintos record now stands at 2-13.
The Elks/Elkettes (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos come into the non-league contest with a 2-13 record.
