The Pelican Rapids Vikings (Pelican Rapids, MN) basketball knocked off the host Barnesville Trojans (Barnesville, MN), 47-32 in Thursday's league test.
The Vikings (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Crookston (Crookston, MN). The Pirates go into the AA Section 8 test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Crookston notched a victory over Grafton (Grafton, ND), 54-52, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Frazee for a AA Section 8 test on Saturday, February 11. Barnesville will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 71-60 non-league loss to Ada-Borup/Norman County West (Ada, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 7-14.
