Rising Sun Tigers (North East, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bel Air Bobcats (Bel Air, MD), 59-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rising Sun upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Elkton (Elkton, MD) to clash with the Golden Elks in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake bout on Monday, February 13. The Golden Elks go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Elkton lost 68-47 in their recent non-league bout against Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MD)

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Joppatowne Mariners (Joppa, MD) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 13. Bel Air will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Mariners go into the bout with a 3-16 record after their 46-20 non-league loss to North Harford (Pylesville, MD).
