Minnesota High School Basketball - Blaine can't hold off Maple Grove

The Maple Grove Crimson basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Blaine Bengals to 59 in the Crimson non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Crimson now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coon Rapids for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 15. Maple Grove will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 54-19 league loss to Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-20.
The Bengals (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Forest Lake (Forest Lake, MN). The Rangers enter the AAAA Section 7 contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, Forest Lake was nudged by Stillwater (Stillwater, MN), 70-38, in a non-league contest.
