The Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Coastal Christian Centurions (Wilmington, NC), 36-35 in Thursday's league test.
The Hurricanes (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Fayetteville Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles go into the NCISAA Coastal Rivers test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Fayetteville Academy got by Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC), 39-19, in a non-league test.
The Centurions now own a 5-17 record.
