In Thursday's league outing, the Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) basketball squad beat the visiting Stayton Eagles (Stayton, OR), by a margin of 47-32.
The Cougars (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against North Marion (Aurora, OR). The Huskies go into the 4A Oregon West outing with a 5-16 record. In their last outing, North Marion was topped by Philomath (Philomath, OR), 58-20, in a league outing.
The Eagles now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Newport for a 4A Oregon West outing on Monday, February 13. Stayton will clash with a Cubs squad coming off a 57-26 league win over Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR). The Cubs record now stands at 11-9.
