Minnesota High School Basketball - New Ulm Cathedral knocked off by Cedar Mountain

The Cedar Mountain Cougars basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds to 41 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's for a A Section 2 contest on Saturday, February 11. Cedar Mountain will meet a Knights team coming off a 61-57 league loss to Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN). The Knights record now stands at 15-5.
The Greyhounds (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Madelia (Madelia, MN). The Blackhawks enter the A Section 2 contest with a 3-17 record. In their last contest, Madelia ran past Loyola (Mankato, MN), 50-44, in a league contest.
