New York High School Basketball - Minisink Valley knocked off by Cornwall Central

The Cornwall Central Dragons basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Minisink Valley Warriors to 42 in the Dragons league triumph on Thursday.

The Dragons now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beacon for a Section 9 Orange County III contest on Tuesday, February 14. Cornwall Central will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-22 league win over Monticello (Monticello, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-5.

The Warriors (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Fallsburg (Fallsburg, NY). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Fallsburg was outscored by Chester (Chester, NY), 63-21, in a non-league contest.
