Tennessee High School Basketball - Munford can't hold off Covington

The Covington Chargers basketball team scored 33 points and restricted the host Munford Cougars to 32 in the Chargers league victory on Thursday.
The Chargers now sport a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brighton for a 3A District 14 contest on Friday, February 10. Covington will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 45-43 league loss to Ripley (Ripley, TN). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-13.
The Cougars (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Haywood (Brownsville, TN). The Tomcats come into the 3A District 14 contest with a 5-19 record. In their last contest, Haywood was nudged by Ripley (Ripley, TN), 41-35, in a league contest.
