Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Forbes Road can't hold off McConnellsburg

The McConnellsburg Spartans basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Forbes Road to 33 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shalom Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. McConnellsburg will battle a Flames team coming off a 38-36 non-league win over Goretti (Hagerstown, MD). The Flames record now stands at 18-6.
The (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, PA). The Panthers enter the Inter County - South contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, Northern Bedford County nudged Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA), 57-43, in a league contest.
