Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Greater Johnstown Trojans (Johnstown, PA) and the visiting Richland Rams (Johnstown, PA), saw Greater Johnstown's basketball squad hold off Richland by a tally of 48-43.

With the victory, Greater Johnstown improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA) to play the Red Devils in a Laurel Highlands challenge on Friday, February 10. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 7-13. Central Cambria won 57-39 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA)

Next up, the Rams play the Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Monday, February 13. Richland will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 18-2 record after their 48-34 non-league win over Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD).
