In Thursday's non-league match, the host Hickory Hornets basketball team scored a good 51-38 triumph over the Grove City Eagles.
In their next game, the Hornets meet the Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 match, on Monday, February 13. Hickory will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Blue Devils enter the match with a 10-10 record after their 47-17 league win over Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA).
