The Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers basketball team scored 42 points and held the host La Salle Academy Rams to 40 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Thursday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Kingstown for a State Championship contest on Monday, February 13. Juanita Sanchez Complex will meet a Rebels team coming off a 52-44 league win over Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Rebels record now stands at 12-7.

The Rams (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Townies enter the State Championship contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, East Providence was nudged by Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 59-46, in a league contest.
