In Thursday's league outing, the Laguna Acoma Hawks (New Laguna, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Navajo Pine Warriors (Navajo, NM), by a margin of 67-25.
The Hawks (15-8) will now prepare for their outing against Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM). The Lynx go into the 2A District 1 outing with a 8-11 record. In their last outing, Rehoboth Christian smashed Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM), 58-28, in a non-league outing.
The Warriors now own a 4-20 record. They play next when they travel to Rehoboth Christian for a 2A District 1 outing on Monday, February 13. Navajo Pine will encounter a Lynx squad coming off a 49-22 league loss to Laguna Acoma (New Laguna, NM). The Lynx record now stands at 8-12.
