New Mexico High School Basketball - Penasco routs McCurdy

In Thursday's league outing, the Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the host McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM), by a count of 52-20.
The Panthers (12-10) will now prepare for their outing against Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM). The Lobos go into the 2A District 5 outing with a 15-7 record. In their last outing, Escalante smashed Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM), 46-45, in a league outing.
The Bobcats now hold a 0-21 record. They play next when they host Mora for a 2A District 5 outing on Saturday, February 11. McCurdy will clash with a Rangers/Rangerettes squad coming off a 51-24 league loss to Penasco (Penasco, NM). The Rangers/Rangerettes record now stands at 6-15.
