Mountain View Mountain Lions (Loveland, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Niwot Cougars (Niwot, CO), 57-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Mountain View upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Mountain Lions travel to Loveland (Loveland, CO) to clash with the Red Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Red Wolves go into the bout with a record of 4-15. Loveland lost 69-36 in their recent league bout against Broomfield (Broomfield, CO)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Fort Morgan Mustangs (Fort Morgan, CO) in a 5A/4A Longs Peak bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Niwot will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 0-21 record after their 92-14 league loss to Riverdale Ridge (Thornton, CO).
