Schalick Cougars (Pittsgrove, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Overbrook Rams (Pine Hill, NJ), 31-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Schalick upgrades its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Clayton (Clayton, NJ) to play the Clippers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 13. The Clippers come into the bout with a record of 16-6. Clayton won 61-46 in their recent league bout against Salem (Salem, NJ)
