Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Pine Tree Academy Breakers (Freeport, ME) and the host Temple Academy Bereans (Waterville, ME), saw Pine Tree Academy's basketball squad hold off Temple Academy by a tally of 34-32.

With the victory, Pine Tree Academy improves its record to 9-9 on the campaign.

Next up, the Bereans play the North Haven Hawks (North Haven, ME) in a D South challenge, on Friday, February 10. Temple Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 58-31 league loss to Islesboro Central (Islesboro, ME).
