North Carolina High School Basketball - Queen's Grant topples Sugar Creek

February 9, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28206

In Thursday's league outing, the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) basketball squad beat the host Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), by a margin of 42-32.

The Stallions (8-12) will now prepare for their outing against Carolina International (Concord, NC). The Comets go into the 1A Conference 38 outing with a 1-16 record. In their last outing, Carolina International was topped by Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC), 49-9, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they host Cabarrus Charter for a non-league outing on Monday, February 13. Sugar Creek will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 66-1 league loss to Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 1-19.
