Massachusetts High School Basketball - Athol winner over Smith Academy

In Thursday's league outing, the Athol Bears (Athol, MA) basketball squad felled the visiting Smith Academy Falcons (Hatfield, MA), by a margin of 33-20.

The Bears (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Putnam Vo-Tech (Springfield, MA). The Beavers go into the outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Putnam Vo-Tech was beaten by Athol (Athol, MA), 64-18, in a league outing.

The Falcons now own a 0-2 record.
