In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting George Wythe Maroons basketball team scored a decisive 46-24 triumph over the Fort Chiswell Pioneers.
In their next game, the Maroons face the Bland County Bears (Rocky Gap, VA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 11. George Wythe will attempt to move on its 20-0 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 17-3 record after their 47-18 non-league win over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA).
With the defeat, Fort Chiswell moves to 4-13 on the year.
