The Penasco Panthers basketball team (Penasco, NM), was toppled 60-49 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM)
The Bobcats now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mora for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 11.
The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM). The Lobos come into the non-league battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Escalante was toppled by Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM), 41-34, in a non-league battle.
