The Abington Galloping Ghosts (Abington, PA) basketball felled the visiting Cheltenham Panthers (Wyncote, PA), 70-57 in Friday's league test.
The Galloping Ghosts (18-5) will now prepare for their test against Springfield (Springfield, PA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 11-9 record. In their last test, Springfield went down by Radnor (Radnor, PA), 37-27, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 17-5 record. They play next when they host North Penn for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. Cheltenham will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 75-60 non-league win over Faith Christian Academy (Sellersville, PA). The Knights record now stands at 9-11.
