St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels (Monroe, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Airport Jets (Carleton, MI), 54-48 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Mary Catholic Central upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Falcons/Kestrels host Milan (Milan, MI) to play the Big Reds in a Huron bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Big Reds go into the bout with a record of 5-15. Milan lost 67-32 in their recent league bout against Riverview (Riverview, MI)

Next up, the Jets play the Jefferson Bears (Monroe, MI) in a Huron bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Airport will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 65-50 league loss to Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI).
