Colorado High School Basketball - Centauri edges Alamosa

February 9, 2024: La Jara, CO 81140

The Centauri Falcons (La Jara, CO) basketball nipped the visiting Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO), 47-42 in Friday's league test.

The Falcons (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Ignacio (Ignacio, CO). The Bobcats go into the 4A/3A Intermountain test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Ignacio was tipped by Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO), 63-36, in a league test.

The Mean Moose now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Montrose for a non-league test on Saturday, February 10. Alamosa will encounter a Red Hawks squad coming off a 60-30 non-league win over Delta (Delta, CO). The Red Hawks record now stands at 14-5.
