The Alba-Golden Panthers (Alba, TX) basketball crushed the host Como-Pickton Eagles (Como, TX), 65-42 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (12-11) will now prepare for their test against Boles (Quinlan, TX). The Hornets go into the 2A Region II District 15 test with a 20-12 record. In their last test, Boles walloped Cooper (Cooper, TX), 69-66, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 2-26 record. They play next when they travel to Cumby for a 2A Region II District 15 test on Tuesday, February 13. Como-Pickton will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 71-39 league loss to North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 10-18.
