The Alden-Conger Knights basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Madelia Blackhawks to 62 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 13-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host LeRoy-Ostrander for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Alden-Conger will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 74-42 league loss to Lyle/Pacelli (Lyle, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-16.
The Blackhawks (11-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 18-3 record. In their last contest, Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial ran past St. Clair (St. Clair, MN), 89-70, in a league contest.
