Iowa High School Basketball - Hampton-Dumont/CAL can't hold off Algona

The Algona Bulldogs basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Hampton-Dumont/CAL to 61 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spencer for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. Algona will battle a Tigers team coming off a 63-50 non-league loss to Le Mars (Le Mars, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-13.
The (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 19-0 record. In their last contest, Clear Lake edged Webster City (Webster City, IA), 61-48, in a league contest.
