Spencerville Bearcats (Spencerville, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Allen East Mustangs (Harrod, OH), 68-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Spencerville upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Marion Local (Maria Stein, OH) to play the Flyers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Flyers come into the bout with a record of 8-10. Marion Local lost 53-40 in their recent league bout against Coldwater (Coldwater, OH)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Fort Jennings Musketeers (Fort Jennings, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Allen East will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Musketeers come into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 64-51 non-league win over Jefferson (Delphos, OH).
