Alma Panthers (Alma, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Garber Dukes (Essexville, MI), 73-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Alma upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Panthers host Chesaning (Chesaning, MI) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 18-0. Chesaning won 52-34 in their recent league bout against New Lothrop (New Lothrop, MI)

Next up, the Dukes play the Glenn Bobcats (Bay City, MI) in a Tri-Valley - Red bout, on Friday, February 16. Garber will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record.
