The Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) basketball knocked off the host Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC), 59-50 in Friday's league test.

The Catamounts (17-5) will now prepare for their test against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Golden Hawks go into the 4A Southeast Wake test with a 16-6 record. In their last test, Holly Springs notched a victory over Cary (Cary, NC), 79-62, in a league test.
