Apponequet Regional Lakers (Lakeville, MA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Falcons (North Dighton, MA), 66-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Apponequet Regional upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Lakers host Bourne (Bourne, MA) to play the Canalmen in a South Coast bout on Friday, February 16. The Canalmen come into the bout with a record of 15-1. Bourne won 85-62 in their recent league bout against Greater New Bedford RVT (New Bedford, MA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Greater New Bedford RVT Bears (New Bedford, MA) in a South Coast bout, on Wednesday, February 14. Dighton-Rehoboth Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 85-62 league loss to Bourne (Bourne, MA).
