Wausaukee Rangers (Wausaukee, WI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Aquinas Blugolds (La Crosse, WI), 74-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wausaukee upgrades its record to 10-12 on the campaign. The Rangers host Saint Thomas Aquinas (Marinette, WI) to play the Cavaliers in a Marinette & Oconto bout on Friday, February 9. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 5-8.

Next up, the Blugolds play the Sparta Spartans (Sparta, WI) in a Mississippi Valley bout, on Friday, February 9. Aquinas will attempt to upgrade on its 19-11 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 96-57 non-league loss to Luther (Onalaska, WI).
