North Carolina High School Basketball - Ascend Leadership beaten by River Mill

February 9, 2024: Sanford, NC 27332

In Friday's league match, the visiting River Mill Jaguars basketball team scored a good 60-44 triumph over the Ascend Leadership Aviators.

In their next game, the Jaguars meet the Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel match, on Tuesday, February 13. River Mill will attempt to move on its 12-14 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 15-11 record after their 62-50 league loss to Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC).

The Aviators now own a 0-14 record. They play next when they host Triangle Math & Science for a 1A Central Tar Heel test on Tuesday, February 13. Ascend Leadership will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 62-38 league loss to Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 6-16.
