The Augusta Christian Lions (Martinez, GA) basketball crushed the host Ben Lippen Falcons (Columbia, SC), 88-61 in Friday's league test.
The Lions (20-7) will now prepare for their test against Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC). The Highlanders go into the SCISA AAAA Region I test with a 7-16 record. In their last test, Heathwood Hall Episcopal was trounced by Hammond (Columbia, SC), 64-49, in a league test.
The Falcons now own a 11-12 record. They play next when they host Providence Athletic Club for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 13. Ben Lippen will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 49-43 non-league loss to Greenville Hurricanes (Greenville, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 16-11.
