The South Elgin Storm basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Aurora East Tomcats to 57 in the Storm league victory on Friday.

The Storm now sport a 14-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elgin for a Upstate Eight contest on Tuesday, February 13. South Elgin will battle a Maroons team coming off a 56-35 non-league loss to Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 8-21.

The Tomcats (8-20) will now prepare for their contest against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks come into the non-league contest with a 18-10 record. In their last contest, West Aurora was nudged by Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL), 48-44, in a league contest.
