Utah High School Basketball - Mountain Crest knocked off by Bear River

February 9, 2024: Garland, UT 84312

The Bear River Bears basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Mountain Crest Mustangs to 51 in the Bears league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Logan for a 4A Region 11 contest on Wednesday, February 14. Bear River will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 62-59 league loss to Green Canyon (North Logan, UT). The Grizzlies record now stands at 16-5.

The Mustangs (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgeline (Millville, UT). The Riverhawks enter the 4A Region 11 contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Ridgeline ran past Sky View (Smithfield, UT), 57-43, in a league contest.
