Beau Chene Gators (Arnaudville, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Breaux Bridge Tigers (Breaux Bridge, LA), 59-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Beau Chene upgrades its record to 19-11 on the season. The Gators travel to Livonia (Livonia, LA) to clash with the Wildcats in a 4A District 5 bout on Monday, February 12. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 14-13. Livonia lost 62-51 in their recent non-league bout against Southern Lab (Baton Rouge, LA)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Opelousas Tigers (Opelousas, LA) in a 4A District 5 bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Breaux Bridge will attempt to upgrade on its 6-19 season record.
