The Irving Tigers basketball team (Irving, TX), was nudged 57-52 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX)
The Rams now possess a 9-23 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to MacArthur for a 6A Region I District 7 battle on Tuesday, February 13. Berkner will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 41-34 league loss to Pearce (Richardson, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-24.
The Tigers (11-21) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX). The Wildcats come into the 6A Region I District 7 battle with a 20-12 record. In their last battle, Lake Highlands edged Nimitz (Irving, TX), 81-39, in a league battle.
