The Beta Academy Fighters (Houston, TX) basketball felled the host Houston Heights (old) Panthers (Houston, TX), 50-40 in Friday's league test.
The Fighters (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Bob Hope (Port Arthur, TX). The Eagles go into the TCAL test with a 20-7 record. In their last test, Bob Hope thwarted Harmony School of Innovation (Sugar Land, TX), 49-39, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 0-8 record.
