The Bishop Walsh Spartans basketball team (Cumberland, MD), was overwhelmed 81-40 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Morgantown Christian Academy Mustangs (Morgantown, WV)
The Mustangs now possess a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mercer Christian Academy for a West Virginia Christian - AA battle on Saturday, February 10. Morgantown Christian Academy will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 69-43 league win over Lewisburg Baptist Academy (Lewisburg, WV). The Cavaliers record now stands at 13-10.
The Spartans (1-12) will now prepare for their battle against Hyndman Charter School (Hyndman, PA). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 1-12 record. In their last outing, Hyndman Charter School was trounced by Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA), 63-22, in a league outing.
