The Tonkawa Buccaneers (Tonkawa, OK) basketball nipped the host Blackwell Maroons (Blackwell, OK), 54-50 in Friday's non-league test.
The Buccaneers (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Pawnee (Pawnee, OK). The Black Bears go into the non-league test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Pawnee got by Newkirk (Newkirk, OK), 58-43, in a non-league test.
The Maroons now own a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Perry for a non-league test on Monday, February 12. Blackwell will encounter a Maroons squad coming off a 46-41 non-league win over Crescent (Crescent, OK). The Maroons record now stands at 6-16.
