The Block Bears (Jonesville, LA) basketball nipped the host Sicily Island Tigers (Sicily Island, LA), 2-0 in Friday's league test.
The Bears (15-11) will now prepare for their test against West Monroe (West Monroe, LA). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 13-11 record. In their last test, West Monroe was tipped by Ruston (Ruston, LA), 61-54, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 0-15 record.
