The Mount View Golden Knights basketball team (Welch, WV), dropped 68-49 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV)
The Beavers now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mingo Central for a Coalfield AA battle on Saturday, February 10. Bluefield will confront a Miners team coming off a 69-39 non-league loss to Tug Valley (Williamson, WV). The Miners record now stands at 5-11.
The Golden Knights (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Montcalm (Montcalm, WV). The Generals come into the Coalfield A battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Montcalm dropped by James Monroe (Lindside, WV), 76-25, in a league battle.
