In Friday's non-league match, the visiting High Plains Storm basketball team scored a tight 60-53 triumph over the Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles.

In their next game, the Storm meet the Palmer Tigers (Palmer, NE) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 10. High Plains will attempt to better on its 13-6 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 2-15 record after their 68-23 non-league loss to Nebraska Christian (Central City, NE).
